Our Return Policy
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items in their original condition (unused, uninstalled, with all original packaging and tags). Please note:
- Custom or made-to-order lighting solutions cannot be returned
- Lamp shades that have been installed or show signs of use cannot be returned
- Kids lighting items must be returned in original safety packaging
Important Note About Returns
For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on any electrical products that show signs of installation attempts or damage to wiring components. This includes ceiling lights, bathroom lights, and floor lamps with compromised electrical parts.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Step 1: Contact Our Customer Care
Email our lighting specialists at [email protected] or call +1 (510) 555-0187 within 15 days of receiving your order. Please include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return or exchange
- Reason for return
- Whether you prefer a refund or exchange
Step 2: Prepare Your Package
Once your return is approved:
- Repackage the item(s) securely in the original packaging
- Include all accessories, manuals, and parts
- Place the return authorization number we provide on the outside of the box
Step 3: Ship Your Return
We’ll provide return shipping instructions based on your location. Please note:
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service
- The item is your responsibility until it reaches our warehouse
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing time: 3-5 business days after we receive your return
- Refund method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Timing: Allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
Note that shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund if applicable.
Exchange Process
For exchanges:
- Follow the same return process above
- Clearly indicate the replacement item you want
- We’ll ship your new item once the return is processed
- You’ll be responsible for any price difference and additional shipping costs
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected]
- Provide photos of the damaged item or incorrect product
- We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you
