Shipping Information
Order Processing
We process all orders within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order is dispatched.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We offer two convenient shipping options to meet your needs:
- Standard Shipping ($12.95) – via DHL or FedEx
- Delivery within 10-15 business days after dispatch
- Includes package tracking
- Free Shipping – via EMS (for orders over $50)
- Delivery within 15-25 business days after dispatch
Note: Delivery times may vary for international shipments and during peak seasons. We currently ship worldwide except to certain Asian countries and remote locations.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your Habitat Store lighting as much as we do. If you’re not completely satisfied, our straightforward returns process makes it easy.
Our Return Policy
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items that are:
- In original, unused condition
- Uninstalled (for fixtures)
- Including all original packaging, tags, and accessories
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Custom or made-to-order lighting solutions
- Lamp shades that have been installed or show signs of use
- Kids lighting items not returned in original safety packaging
- Any electrical products with signs of installation attempts or damaged wiring components (including ceiling lights, bathroom lights, and floor lamps with compromised electrical parts)
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Step 1: Contact Our Customer Care
Email our lighting specialists at [email protected] or call +1 (510) 555-0187 within 15 days of receiving your order. Please include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return or exchange
- Reason for return
- Whether you prefer a refund or exchange
Step 2: Prepare Your Package
Once your return is approved:
- Repackage the item(s) securely in the original packaging
- Include all accessories, manuals, and parts
- Place the return authorization number we provide on the outside of the box
Step 3: Ship Your Return
We’ll provide return shipping instructions based on your location. Please note:
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service
- The item is your responsibility until it reaches our warehouse
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing time: 3-5 business days after we receive your return
- Refund method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Timing: Allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
Important: Shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund if applicable.
Exchange Process
For exchanges:
- Follow the same return process above
- Clearly indicate the replacement item you want
- We’ll ship your new item once the return is processed
- You’ll be responsible for any price difference and additional shipping costs
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:
